About Me.
With over two decades of telecom and technology industry experience, I have always enjoyed the fast pace change and admired the courage of forward thinkers that have shaped the industry. This has inspired me to always look for new challenges and embrace change, becoming more resilient and developing a unique array of skills that have supported my passion to create.
This is the story of my professional experience.

1999 - 2011
PwC
Building My Repertoire (learn, learn, learn)
I was with PwC for over a decade where I developed a range of capabilities, this included becoming a certified accountant, attaining deep data competencies, enhancing my critical thinking and problem-solving methods, as well as refining my leadership style.

PwC was a great learning platform as it was fast paced and exciting, by the time I left PwC I had delivered over 25 complex revenue/cost optimization programs that delivered over ~AUD100m in benefits across a dozen clients in the Asia Pacific Region.
2011 - 2014
Telstra
Growing My Experience (and battle scars)
At Telstra I honed my skills further and took on more accountability. One of my most memorable times at Telstra was when I was given the opportunity to play a key role in developing the "blueprint" to launch a start-up business. This business would have its own independent brand and team, separate from Telstra. The start-up business was launched in Oct 2013, it was called Belong.

Towards the later part of my time at Telstra I took on one of the most challenging roles in my career, it was complex and demanding. My team and I were accountable for designing and managing over $500m worth of channel commissions per year, impacting the livelihood of ~200 retail stores. There were a lot of "running of numbers", personal emotions and what I would call robust discussions with all involved.

2014 - 2023
Brightstar and Macquarie Bank
Applying My Commercial Creativity (what a challenge!)
In Brightstar, I was tasked with building an asset financing product to support retail smartphone programs across the Asia Pacific region. This was exciting as it required commercial creativity to structure and support these retail smartphone programs (e.g.early upgrade, trade-in and leasing).

My journey took me from New Delhi to Auckland working with various clients and partners, while spending most of my time on the road (living in planes and hotels). I would eventually end up joining one of our partners, Macquarie Bank.

Over the course of this period, I designed and executed multiple financial structures to support smartphone retail programs for numerous clients in the APAC region. Nearly 3 million smartphones were supported under these commercial structures with a financial exposure of over $2.0bil.
